Innovations in Healthcare has designed and trialed a framework and guidebook to support the design and evaluation of private-sector supported global health programs. The framework, called the Access to Health Impact Framework, supports teams in designing, measuring, and evaluating the progress and outcomes of their programs. It encourages programs to consider three important domains for creating impact: Health System; Health or Therapeutic Area; and Patient Experience. The framework has been applied to a flagship, private-sector supported program in Kenya focused on strengthening the health system for non-communicable diseases to improve the health of communities and individuals.
