Mapping and Analysing Digital Learning Platforms in Latin America and the Caribbean

SDG Impacted

UNICEF's Ed Tech Hub provides an overview of educational levels and current challenges in the LAC region, followed by an exploration of regional digital learning use. In addition they explore six digital learning platforms or tools by analysing them as case studies.

Impact / Outcome
Despite an overall encouraging uptake of digital learning in LAC, education systems still face difficulties shaped by socio-economic and historical disparities; for example, substantial digital divides limit access to and usage of digital learning platforms. This report presents a list of promising platforms and discusses their design and implementation to explore their relevance and potential for at-scale impact.
