Model Schools Improve Quality of Public Education, Benefit Female, Disadvantaged Students in Nepal

SDGs Impacted

This case study analyzes the impact of model schools in Nepal on improving the quality of public education, particularly benefiting disadvantaged students, especially girls. These model schools, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aim to address educational disparities and promote digital inclusion. By integrating technology and innovative teaching methods, these schools have created an inclusive and engaging learning environment. As a result, disadvantaged students have experienced improved access to education, enhanced learning outcomes, and increased opportunities for their future. These efforts contribute to narrowing the gender and social gaps in education, fostering empowerment and socio-economic development in Nepal.
