Partnered with Connect Humanity (CH) to expand upon the joint effort that provided a Digital Equity Connectivity Plan (aka Community Plan) for Orangeburg, SC, to ensure unserved and underserved communities that house HBCUs are able to effectively compete for a portion of the state allocations of the ~$42 in Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) funding and ~$3B in Digital Equity Act funding. The SFI-CH team will provide the necessary Subject Matter Experts for up to 70 local communities in conjunction with state broadband office and federal resources deployed at the state level.
