Jobs and Skills AcceleratorAccording to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, 36% of core skills needed for jobs in Indonesia will change over the next five years. Broadening digital access and increased investments into the green transition will be particularly transformative for organisations in Indonesia. To support equitable growth and ease transitions between jobs amidst labour market changes, the Ministry of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia (BAPPENAS) is collaborating with the World Economic Forum to launch a Jobs and Skills Accelerator in Indonesia. The Indonesia Accelerator will support the country’s national strategy 2025-2045.


## Activities

In alignment with the Jobs Initiative objectives, BAPPENAS oversees the creation of national development strategies that support the enhancement of workforce capabilities, the creation of high-quality green jobs and the streamlining of technical and vocational education and training programmes.   The Indonesia Jobs and Skills Accelerator aims to:  Support employers and investors in building a pipeline of skills and talent, allowing them to drive innovation and improve productivity Ensure that Indonesian nationals and employees benefit from the success of businesses in Indonesia and build rewarding careers and livelihoods
