The Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders is a community of executives committed to advancing bold climate ambition and accelerating the net-zero transition. Members work together by setting science-based targets, disclosing emissions, and advancing decarbonization and partnerships across global value chains.The World Economic Forum provides a trusted platform for chief executives and sustainability leaders to exchange perspectives, strengthen collaboration and support more proactive climate action. The Alliance creates opportunities for business leaders to work together on emissions across all scopes, with a particular focus on value chain decarbonization, both upstream and downstream, while sharing practices, applying tools and advancing practical action plans.

### Ambition | Aligning corporate climate ambition with scientific requirements

The Alliance sets a high bar for members and holds them accountable – all in hopes of aligning with a 1.5 degree pathway. Joining the Alliance requires meeting criteria related to disclosures and target setting. The Alliance keeps members accountable by evaluating member performance on an annual basis.


### Action | Working with CEOs to deliver near-term strategy transformation

The Alliance supports and connects its members across industries and geographies to drive true climate impact. This means sharing knowledge and support to operationalize commitments, demonstrate emission reduction and amplify collective action.


### Mobilization | Engaging with policy to support positive advocacy

The Alliance actively participates in corporate climate advocacy to shape a global enabling environment. By jointly connecting with world leaders and stakeholders through policymaker multilateral and open letters, Alliance members can move forward on their climate journeys.


## Our impact

Through data research, knowledge exchange, and demonstrating community results, we aim to drive meaningful change. In terms of emissions, Alliance companies represent a combined footprint of ~5 Gt, accounting for about ~10% of global emissions – close to the annual emissions of the US.

### Demonstrating results

We use data-driven insights to track member progress, identify emerging priorities and strengthen collective impact.Between 2019 and 2023, Alliance members reduced aggregate emissions by 12% while increasing revenues by 20%, demonstrating that climate action and business growth can go hand in hand.
