Nature is rising on the corporate, investor and regulatory agenda. Following the successful United Nations Biodiversity Conference (COP15) and the adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework by 196 nations, now is the time for tangible actions needed from the private sector to meet the 2030 goal of halting and reversing biodiversity loss. This session will bring together the Forum's Community of Chief Sustainability Officers with Chief Finance Officers to discuss how companies can ACT for Nature: Assess their impacts and dependencies on nature, Commit to science-based targets for nature and Transform their strategy and operations for a nature-positive economy, and prepare to publicly Disclose their progress along the journey. On the agenda: - Discuss Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) final recommendations and its role in corporate disclosure and reporting on nature that improves enterprise and portfolio risk management. - Explore business approaches to incorporating nature-related practices - Interactive discussion and knowledge exchange with peers.
