# Transition Finance

## Our mission

While over $130 trillion of private capital is committed to net zero, ~60% of decarbonization solutions that are critical for the net-zero transition of hard-to-abate sectors, such as hydrogen and biofuels, remain underfunded. Mobilizing capital to support the adoption of these early-stage technologies is the key to unlocking the net-zero transition of our economies.

## Our objectives

This initiative engages financiers from across the investment value chain alongside industrial, mobility, and energy companies to:

### Improve supply

Design financing structures and de-risking mechanisms to demonstrate the commercial viability and bankability of decarbonization projects.

### Amplify demand

In collaboration with First Movers Coalition, identify the role of FIs is in supporting companies and use their purchasing power for decarbonization solutions.

### Enable investments

Create an enabling environment for investments, in collaboration with policy makers.
