At Amogy, we’ve pioneered an innovative ammonia-to-power system that splits, or “cracks,” liquid ammonia into its base elements of hydrogen and nitrogen, which then funnels the hydrogen into a fuel cell. Our method of ammonia cracking generates high-performance power at five times the energy density of lithium batteries. The hydrogen is then used in a fuel cell to generate electricity, while the nitrogen gas by-product is safely released into the atmosphere.
