Summary

Antora builds and deploys thermal batteries to power always-on industrial operations with low-cost renewable energy. Factory-built in the United States, Antora’s thermal batteries rapidly soak up the cheapest hours of renewable energy generation to store energy as heat in blocks of solid carbon. Energy is discharged as heat and/or electricity at the scale and temperatures that large industrial operations demand, enabling industrial facilities to decarbonize predictably and profitably.

Description of Technology:

Antora has opened a first-of-a-kind thermal battery manufacturing facility in California, which has the capacity to produce gigawatt-hours of thermal batteries each year. Antora's thermal batteries convert renewable electricity into reliable zero-emissions heat that is used by manufacturers to process materials and manufacture goods.
