Summary

We collect biogenic CO2 from Danish biogas plants and store it permanently underground. This generates CDR certificates, that companies can buy to compensate for the emissions that cannot be reduced. The site of CCS will be different biogas plants in Denmark. The storage will be in an old oilfield (Project Greensand) in the North Sea. This storage site will start with a capacity of 400.000 t/y and with the potential to expand.
