Commerical scale plant employing a decarbonized process to produce industry-standard ordinary portland cement (OPC) and SCMs. Brimstone has successfully demonstrated via third-party testing that our OPC (i.e., Cem I) is identical to OPC produced by the conventional process and that our SCM meets all relevant ASTM industry standards. We have also successfully piloted the core process technology which already has low technical and performance risk due to leveraging unit operations that have previously been deployed in other industrial use cases. As per Brimstone’s development pathway, the company is currently advancing the construction and operation of a technical demonstration plant which will occur prior to a full-scale commercial plant. This plant will further reduce engineering scale up risk and allow for larger scale field pilots to demonstrate the low risk and high quality of our products.
