Summary

Carbonaide's carbon-curing technology, originating from VTT, the Technical Research Centre of Finland, can mineralise CO₂ during the concrete production process, reducing the footprint of concrete by 50% - 100%, or even going carbon-negative. Carbonaide' CCUS technology improves the mechanical properties of concrete, thus 20-30% less cement is used, which decreases emissions, and also results in cost savings. Concrete is cured under a specified CO₂ atmosphere that enables formation of carbonate minerals, locking CO₂ permanently in the concrete structure. The curing process is based on patented VTT's innovation and with the help of software-enabled verification we can accurately measure the amount of mineralized CO₂.
