Hydnum Steel represents a new paradigm in the industry: manufacturing without polluting. The steel sector accounts for 9% of global CO2 emissions. But the plant we will build in Puertollano (Spain) is designed to run exclusively on renewable energy, reduce emissions by 98% compared to a traditional steel mill, continuously recycle scrap, and reuse urban and industrial water in a circular way. For this reason, Hydnum Steel has secured €60 million from a strategic program approved by the Government of Spain to accelerate the ecological transition of the industrial sector. We have also been recognized by the World Economic Forum in Davos as one of the five most relevant projects for industrial decarbonization.
