Spark e-Fuels’ goal is to tackle aviation’s significant environmental impact by producing sustainable e-fuels. Spark focuses on the problems of limited availability and high cost of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by developing integrated e-fuel SAF plants that can be connected to lowest-cost renewable electricity directly. Therefore the company develops a chemical process that can cope with fluctuating input from renewables. Spark develops proprietary load-flexible reactor systems and an overall production process that is based on scalable e-fuels reactions (Fischer-Tropsch & Reverse-Water-Gas-Shift), which traditionally only work with constant input.
