Our technology operates in two modes: As a power plant, it electrochemically converts biogas or hydrogen into electricity with a groundbreaking 80% electrical efficiency. In the second mode, it functions as a power-to-gas unit, producing green hydrogen or methane from electricity, also with an 80% efficiency rate. The synthetic, renewable gas produced can be used for various applications, including electricity generation, heating, and fuel for mobility, through the existing natural gas grid. By using the existing gas infrastructure, a long-term storage effect is achieved. The core innovation of our technology is an improved system architecture compared to state-of-the-art SOFC systems. This enables a significant increase in efficiency compared to conventional systems and the capture of pure CO2 as the only off-gas stream. Reverion plants are designed to be modular, scalable, and standardized container units. This facilitates cost-effective series production and straightforward plug-and-play installation. In essence, our technology addresses the goals of efficient electricity generation, the transition towards carbon-negative solutions and the achievement of long-term energy storage.
