Summary

The project dedicated to converting renewable hydrogen into synthetic fuels, including renewable ammonia, methanol and eSAF for the decarbonisation of specifically the maritime and aviation transport. It complements hydrogen production by enabling the creation of renewable fuels for hard‑to‑abate sectors and strengthening the region’s position in international clean‑fuel markets. It is part of the The Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley which is one of the largest renewable hydrogen projects in Europe, with a planned electrolyser capacity of 2 GW. It aims to establish a fully integrated industrial ecosystem for the production, use and export of renewable hydrogen and its derivatives, positioning Andalusia as a strategic hub in the European energy transition. Moeve is proud to be at the forefront of the shipping industry transition and is already supplying customers with 2G maritime biofuels that can reduce lifecycle CO₂ emissions by up to 90% and is investing to scale future solutions including renewable hydrogen–based fuels such as renewable methanol and ammonia. The path forward is clear: collaboration, innovation, and investment in sustainable fuel solutions must persist to secure a sustainable future for the sector. 3rd party verified product: https://reports.weforum.org/docs/WEF_Moeve_CertifHy_pre_certification_2026.pdf
