## Mission

To strengthen the business and economic case for investments in grid optimization and expansion globally.


## Context

Electricity grids are essential for the uptake of clean energy as well as to facilitate the electrification of our societies and industries. Yet, grids risk becoming a bottleneck in achieving national energy and climate objectives. Barriers include supply chains, network planning, investments, digitalization of processes , workforce and community engagement, as well as challenges in aligning decisionmakers on the pathway to more investment for both expansion and optimization of the existing grid.


## Our ambition

Through country or regional dialogues, this initiative aims to catalyze alignment, collaborations and action across government, regulators and business to strengthen electricity grids infrastructure.
