SME Climate Hub - Empowering small to medium sized companies to take climate action

The SME Climate Hub is a non-profit global initiative that empowers small to medium sized companies to take climate action and build resilient businesses for the future.

The SME climate hub Initiative has been founded by the following partners: We Mean Business Coalition (NGOs), Exponential Roadmap Initiative (NGO), The International Chamber of Commerce, The United Nations Race to Zero campaign and Normative (Software).

The objective of SME climate hub is to ensure companies that commit to this initiative need to halve emissions by 2030, achieve net zero by 2050

There are 3 steps to take once you are part of the SME climate Hub

  1. See where you stand: Measure your own emissions and understand the tools available to help you reduce them
  2. Publicly commit: to halve emissions before 2030; to cut emissions to zero before 2050; to share progress on a yearly basis
  3. Take action: unlock your personalized resources & incentives

The climate hub aims to provide tools to small and medium sized companies to take climate action and build resilient businesses for the future through:

  • An educational course
  • A carbon emissions reporting framework
  • A carbon calculator
  • A financial support guide specifically designed to help small businesses more seamlessly mitigate their environmental impact

As of now, over 400 companies have committed to the SME climate hub.
