In 2025, the World Economic Forum launched Leaders for European Growth and Competitiveness, a multi-stakeholder group made up of key leaders from public, private, civil society and expert organisations. The initiative meets regularly on both leadership and technical level to make progress on its impact-driven thematic workstreams to support the implementation of competitiveness-enhancing reforms across the region.

## By catalysing the full power of the single market to incentivize the development and uptake of new technologies, Europe could become a market leader in the industries of tomorrow.

## Governance and structure

The multistakeholder Leaders for European Growth and Competitiveness brings together EU and national policy makers, business and civil society leaders and experts to drive progress across its thematic pillars. In close collaboration with its co-chairs, the LGC is a platform for problem-solving to accelerate structural reforms needed to deliver growth, productivity, investment and employment across Europe. The Leaders Group is made up of leaders of organizations and institutions representing public, private, civil society and expert organisations at the highest level. Through the work of the four Pillars, senior leaders of these public and private bodies participate in regular policy-dialogue and in-person workshops.
