Safeguarding nature is not only an environmental imperative but also an economic necessity. The World Economic Forum estimates that over $44 trillion of economic value—over half of global GDP—is moderately or highly dependent on nature and its services, such as pollination. Key industries, from agriculture to construction, rely on resources now under threat due to nature loss. As ecosystems deteriorate, businesses and economies face increased resource scarcity, supply chain disruptions, and operational costs.
