# About Nature Positive Transitions

Fast-tracking the transition towards nature positive, net-zero and equitable future.

**12%** Percentage of Fortune 500 companies have a biodiversity target, compared to 78% of those with climate targets.

**$10.1 trillion** Amount that could be unlocked in business opportunities annually and create 395 million jobs by 2030.

**$7 trillion** Amount invested globally each year in activities that have a direct negative impact on nature from both public and private sector sources.

## Our approach in advancing a society-wide response to biodiversity loss

Achieving the 2022 Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework goal of halting and reversing biodiversity loss by 2030 – our shared ambition of becoming "nature-positive" – requires a whole-of-society approach. Both private and public stakeholders must scale and accelerate their actions to address this urgent challenge.Organizations that take proactive steps to address nature loss can not only minimize disruptions from evolving policies and regulatory requirements but also manage nature-related physical, transition, and systemic risks more effectively. By acting early, they can seize opportunities to lead the transition towards a nature-positive future, benefiting ecosystems, communities, and economies alike.
