## Unlocking sustainable and synergistic public and private financing and driving global collaboration to reduce the global deaths associated with antimicrobial resistance.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of today's most urgent global health and economic threats, responsible for millions of deaths annually. Essential medicines like antibiotics are critical infrastructure underpinning healthcare and economic stability, yet insufficient investment and market failures threaten their efficacy. The Unified Coalition for the AMR Response (UCARE) addresses this challenge by mobilizing significant public and private financing to accelerate innovation, improve equitable access to treatments, and significantly reduce antimicrobial use, safeguarding global health for future generations.
