## Transforming Healthcare with AI

Rwanda has transformed its healthcare system from crisis to universal coverage and is now using AI to empower frontline workers. C4IR Rwanda is deploying AI-powered decision support tools with locally trained Kinyarwanda models, boosting diagnostic accuracy from 8% to 71% and showcasing how inclusive AI can scale to address global challenges.


## Upskilling workforce with free online education

C4IR Azerbaijan is equipping citizens with the skills to thrive in the digital economy. In partnership with Coursera, it has provided free training in AI and data science to over 10,000 people, boosting opportunities for women, youth, and civil servants. The Centre plans to reach 200,000 learners, helping build an inclusive, future-ready workforce and advancing the country’s “Azerbaijan 2030” vision.


## Supporting smallholder farmers using AI

C4IR India is using AI to empower smallholder farmers, who make up nearly 85% of the country’s agriculture sector and often struggle with financing and crop losses. By deploying AI-based tools with chili farmers, the Centre is helping boost crop yields and farmer incomes, showing how technology can deliver inclusive growth in agriculture.


## Boosting SMEs with Smart Manufacturing

In Saudi Arabia, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) involved in industrial manufacturing make up around 80% of businesses. C4IR Saudi Arabia is helping these SMEs digitalize by sharing best practices, developing a use case guide, and providing training. The project so far has trained 55 individuals, improved supply chain responsiveness by 133%, and reduced operational costs by 21%.


## AI for Citizens

As AI becomes increasingly embedded in Malaysian society, it is essential that all citizens understand the technology they use in their daily lives.C4IR Malaysia developed the AI for Citizens (AI Untuk Rakyat) programme to boost AI literacy, offering free online courses. Since its launch, the programme has exceeded its first-year target, with over 1 million course completions.


## Medicine from the Sky

India’s healthcare system faces challenges in reaching remote and mountainous regions due to infrastructure limitations and adverse weather conditionsC4IR India’s Medicine from the Sky initiative leverages drones to improve healthcare access in remote regions. A successful pilot in Arunachal Pradesh demonstrated faster medical deliveries, job creation, and reduced carbon emissions.
