# AzerbaijanSkills Accelerator

As Azerbaijan seeks to diversify its economy and acquire new expertise, its human capital will play a key role in it's economic growth.


## Activities and deliverables

Announced in February 2025 by the Minister of Economy for Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Skills Accelerator will focus on closing high growth skills gaps to build a strong talent pipeline that will support the diversification of the Azerbaijan economy. The Azerbaijan Skills Accelerator was formally launched in Baku in November 2025, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Education, and private sector leaders who will co-chair the initiative. Implementation of the national initiative will be coordinated by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy and supported by national stakeholders serving as Accelerator members that will help to scale insights and actions developed within the Accelerator.
