💡EmpowerABQ is a mentorship program organized by the Global Shapers Albuquerque Hub with a mission to nurture Albuquerque youth and empower career development. In a state with falling college-going and retention rates, this initiative aims to support first-year college students' success through personalized mentorship. Over a three-month period, students are paired with mentors from the interdisciplinary Global Shapers network to collaborate on a project aligned with the student’s personal development goals. EmpowerABQ marks the first young professionals driven mentor program for college freshmen in New Mexico.
