## We are accelerating equitable access to prevention, diagnosis and care for non-communicable diseases

The Digital Health Action Alliance is a global platform convened by the World Economic Forum to accelerate the use of digital innovation in addressing non-communicable diseases. By bringing together stakeholders across sectors, the Alliance advances solutions that improve prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term disease management while promoting more equitable, integrated, and sustainable health systems.

## Our focus areas

From prevention to community care, digital technologies are transforming how non-communicable diseases are detected, managed, and treated.

### Prevention

People in low- and middle-income countries and underserved communities often face greater exposure to noncommunicable disease risk factors. Digital solutions can help expand access to education, raise awareness and support earlier prevention efforts.

### Diagnostics

Limited access to diagnostic infrastructure remains a significant barrier to care. Advances in artificial intelligence (AI), mobile technology and point-of-care testing are helping expand access to more timely diagnosis.

### Access

Despite the availability of proven treatments, 1.2 billion people live with uncontrolled hypertension. Data-driven tools can help improve forecasting, strengthen supply chains and expand access to essential care.

### Community

Community health workers play a vital role in noncommunicable disease care but often lack the resources they need. Digital tools can support training, strengthen decision-making and improve care coordination at the community level.
