The Edinburgh Hub is part of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community, a network of young people working to address local challenges with global relevance.

We bring together passionate individuals from across public policy, academia, technology, finance, climate, and civil society. Our focus is on designing and delivering practical initiatives that respond to specific issues affecting Edinburgh.

The Hub operates on a volunteer basis and through defined annual priorities. Members contribute actively to project development, partnerships, and implementation. Participation is collaborative, but accountability is shared.

We value diversity of background and perspective, and we expect sustained commitment to the work of the Hub. Our projects are grounded in evidence, shaped by local context, and connected to broader global conversations through the Global Shapers network.

Edinburgh’s institutional landscape ,from universities and regulators to financial institutions and civic leadership, provides the opportunity to move ideas into action. Our role is to bridge sectors and translate dialogue into delivery.
