# Equitable Transition Initiative

The Equitable Transition Initiative aims to ensure the policies, investments and business strategies for the net-zero transformation are designed and implemented to solve for both the green transition and economic equity.


# Mission statement

The Equitable Transition Initiative is solving for both the green transition and economic equity.The Equitable Transition Initiative builds consensus and fosters multi-stakeholder learning to ensure greater economic equity in the green transition. The Initiative assesses the impacts of climate mitigation actions on people and mobilizes businesses and governments to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.


### Framework for Economic Equity

We focus primarily on the distributional effects of the green transition on workers, consumers, remote areas and small business. In the context of the climate transition, our work addresses five key equity dimensions:

### Connect and align stakeholders

Convene the Equitable Transition Alliance, a multi-stakeholder coalition of leaders who raise visibility of the agenda and translate thought leadership into actionable frameworks and tools.
