C4IR India Space Team Participated in CXO Roundtable at the 7th IN-SPACe Industry Connect

C4IR India space team participated in a panel discussion on Space for Good Governance

The World Economic Forum, in collaboration with IN-SPACe, hosted the inaugural session of the National Space Dialogue Series, themed "Strengthening Space Supply Chains in India through Global Partnerships" on 7th Jan 2025.

As the union cabinet recently approved a venture capital fund of USD 135 million, we examine sectoral achievements and explore how confidence building measures and inherent sectoral resilience can enable further capital infusion.

Launch of the National Space Dialogue Series by C4IR India Space Economy team at the Bengaluru Space Expo 2024 in collaboration with IN-SPACe

C4IR India hosted a workshop in March 2024 launching a program on the 'Future of Space Technology: India'. The workshop explored India's space sector and its potential for global impact. The workshop had a diverse set of discussion leaders including officials from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe), the country's space policy & promotional arm. The session witnessed representation from 25 organizations - International and Indian, space and non-space

A session on India’s Space Economy was specially thought-provoking. C4IR India’s Project lead Vignesh Santhanam joined in alongside luminaries from the sector including Dr. S Somanath (Chairman ISRO)- the man who put India on the moon, Mr. Pawan Goenka (Chairman INSPACE) & Dr. Vinod Kumar (Director iNSPACE) at the International Space Conference on New Space Era: Connecting Science, Nations & Societies  

The Union Budget for the FY 2024-25 was presented in the Lok Sabha (Lower House) of the Indian Parliament yesterday (i.e 23rd July 2024). The Union Budget for 2024-25 has introduced a dedicated venture capital fund of ₹1,000 crore to bolster the Indian space economy, as announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. This initiative aims to enhance innovation and support the growth of the space sector, which has gained momentum following successful missions like Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya L-1.
