Physical autonomous systems, which integrate AI with engineering, pave the way for AI to engage with humans in the physical world. Successfully implementing these systems requires thorough understanding of their potential to enhance our quality of life and of the possible unintended consequences. 

How can we ensure that interaction and collaboration between humans and robots of all kinds are safe, effective, and meaningful across various domains?
