## About the Global Future Council on Energy Nexus

Energy systems are deeply interconnected with our economies, natural ecosystems and agriculture, yet these critical interlinkages are often poorly understood or managed. There is a need to create better understanding of key nexus issues, such as the intersections between energy and water, agriculture, economic development and growth, and the role of greater regional and global coordination and action. How can the energy community, through better public-private cooperation, better link the energy transition agenda setting with these complex energy and nexus challenges?
