## About the Global Future Council on Natural Capital

Current economic models do not adequately incentivize the protection, maintenance, and enhancement of natural capital. While promising initiatives in natural capital accounting and valuation aim to change this paradigm, socioeconomic decisions continue to prioritize traditional financial and physical capital. How can we prioritize natural capital on the global socioeconomic agenda and mainstream the use of natural capital data in decision-making processes?
