The Global Shapers Taskforce Manufacturing connects Global Shapers with the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains (CAMSC) and its SmartStart initiative. Taskforce members have experience in manufacturing or supply chains and act as links between CAMSC and their local communities. They support their Hubs in organizing activities that improve awareness of manufacturing and supply chain careers and strengthen connections between young people, educators and industry. Activities may include briefings for educators and career counsellors, meet-the-leader events, visits to advanced manufacturing sites and communications campaigns. The Taskforce contributes to SmartStart’s objective of preparing young people for future-focused jobs by 2035.
