## We help industry leaders develop the production systems of the future by embedding technology, sustainability and operational capabilities that drive real-world industrial transformation.

The Lighthouse Operating System (Lighthouse OS) is a global, cross-industry initiative to define a responsible operating system for the factories and networks of the future. Built with industry leaders and grounded in end-to-end flow, lean, digital, AI, and sustainability, the initiative provides a common language to benchmark maturity, set priorities, and steer transformation. By design, it blends proven operational disciplines with new technology so organizations can raise efficiency, agility, and resilience while improving environmental performance.

## Our focus areas

### Sustainability

Embed sustainability into the operating model from the outset to help build future-ready factories for the products of tomorrow.

### Technology

Take a systematic approach to digital transformation from the outset to avoid isolated solutions that are difficult to scale.

### Resilience

Build resilience into the operating model to support new business models, strengthen value creation and help address future supply chain challenges.

### Workforce

Technology can support upskilling, and manufacturers should equip workers to respond to emerging challenges and remain competitive.

## How we are driving impact

### The manufacturing of the future

Developing an integrated view on how manufacturers of the future will operate and create value; flipping the focus from reducing cost, to adding business value and enabling new business models.
