## Our mission

The World Economic Forum is working with a core group of interested and committed institutions and individuals, from the public and private sectors, to enable and facilitate the twin disciplines of strategy and foresight as key to informed decision-making.  Strategic Foresight enables future preparedness across the breadth of the public, private, and academic sectors.

## How we drive impact

The Global Foresight Network aims to support the ability of organizations to build future-preparedness and to help our collective capacity as a society to address the transformational challenges of the coming decades and shape a better future.


### Capability building

The network acts as a hub for resources and case studies on methods, stimulates research and supports exchange on the practice of foresight within organizations. Regular virtual and in-person meetings support peer-to-peer learning and exchange across the community.


### Awareness raising

The network drives dissemination of best practices, success stories and evidence on the benefits of foresight through the Forum’s multistakeholder communities.


### Thought-leadership

The network helps aggregate, structure, and discuss insights from foresight activities across the public and private sectors. It also identifies thematic priorities of relevance to the community and fosters exchange around those.
