## About the Global Future Council on Antimicrobial Resistance

A broader ‘One Health’ and multi-stakeholder approach is urgently needed to address drug-resistant infections. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is already a leading cause of death globally, surpassing HIV/AIDS and malaria. How can novel financing approaches accelerate effective action to address AMR challenges?

## The Unified Coalition for the Antimicrobial Resistance Response (UCARE)

The GFC provides strategic and thought leadership to the UCARE initiative aiming to unlock sustainable and synergistic financing from both public and private sources to reduce global deaths associated with AMR, saving more than 100 million lives by 2050.
