Problem: Modern manufacturing lines must handle dozens of product variants with tolerances as tight as a quarter of a millimeter, often in unsafe environments. Traditional industrial robots work only when every part is presented in exactly the same position. Each new variant demands custom fixtures and reprogramming, leaving these tasks to manual operation – a challenge that becomes harder as production scales.
Approach: An intelligence platform, combining AI-driven 3D vision, world models, and standardised software, turning any existing robotic arm into an adaptive, intelligent agent. The same universal platform fits onto more than 1,000 different robot models, allowing retrofitting to existing lines without bespoke engineering for each installation. This delivers an “eyes, brain, and grippers” system that let robots understand and react to real-world complexity, while eliminating fatigue and reducing workplace risk.
Result: On the partnered assembly line, single-shift capacity rose by 50%, and labor efficiency improved by 30%. Hazardous operations were fully automated, keeping people out of harm’s way, and running the line with the flexibility to handle new variants without downtime or re-engineering.
