## Our approach

The RAVC initiative is derived from the Automotive and New Mobility CEOs Agenda, curated by the World Economic Forum and supported by McKinsey. The RAVC initiative is designed to support exchanges of the Forum’s Automotive and New Mobility Governors and Senior Deputies of the community.

### The Circular Cars Initiative

The Circular Cars Initiative’s ambition is to create the biggest circularity focused multi-stakeholder coalition in the mobility sector. We are actively looking for automotive OEMs, automotive suppliers, including representatives of the components/ battery/ chemicals/ metal sector, policy makers, as well as civil society representatives and academics to join us.

### Global Supply Resilience Initiative

The central goal of this initiative is to develop an open-source, pre-competitive Global Supply System Dashboard (GSSD), using elements of near real time, anonymized, aggregated public-private data to provide visibility of system performance, indicating ongoing and anticipated disruptions.

## Sustainability Footprint Compass

The community has created a mapping of mobility relevant standards, regulations, tools and collaborations on sustainability globally. ## Value Chain Toolkits

. The current trends disrupting the mobility industry highlight the importance of transparency for key automotive value chains including semiconductors, EV batteries and green steel. For this purpose, the community created a toolkit that provides transparency in terms of demand/supply balance as well as regional consolidation and highlights strategic recommendations to address key industry risks through non-competitive collaboration.Please log in to access the full content.

## A call to action

In their Collaboration Letter published in early 2023, leaders from key industry actors along the mobility value chain call for collaboration and non-competitive information sharing to build more resilient and sustainable value chains for the sector.
