Teach For All’s Future of Work Initiative provides a platform that brings together key stakeholders to collaborate on supporting teachers and communities to prepare students for the kinds of work the future will bring. The aim of the initiative is that all children and youth, regardless of their socioeconomic background, will have access to an education that will help them thrive and shape meaningful careers in an evolving economy. This requires reorienting education, developing students holistically, and incorporating career readiness into the formal education curriculum.
During 2023, Teach For All and network partners implemented the Future of Work Initiative in 37 countries, enabled by 10 corporate partnerships, reaching more than 2,760 teachers and 166,000 students with programs in 4 content areas— Career Education, Digital Literacy, Financial Education, and STEM —identified by our partners and stakeholders as critical to preparing students for the world of work.
