There is no such thing as a singular set of ‘ESG skills’. Any ‘ESG professional’ will have to combine a ‘thematic’ or ‘functional’  understanding of an E, S or G theme with an understanding of more ‘traditional’ financial analysis skillsets. On top of this comes the need to deal with new digital technologies and alternative data sources to gain ESG insights beyond corporate disclosures.This knowledge hub highlights some of the current ESG data needs and challenges to inspire and guide the next generation of ESG professionals.
