Cornerstone’s nonprofit, the Cornerstone Foundation, has set an ambitious goal to help upskill 3 million people by 2030, with a focus on individuals working in nonprofit organizations, emergency response, and development aid. Through free, online learning programs powered by Cornerstone’s learning technology, the Foundation strengthens the capacity of nonprofit and humanitarian organizations by giving employees and volunteers access to essential skill development at no cost.
In parallel, Cornerstone’s Skill Passport initiative aims to issue 20 million skill passports and help enable 5 million job connections by 2030. Skill Passport brings together online and in-person learning, micro-credentials, and employer partnerships to create verified skill profiles that help individuals connect to relevant roles. Participants can build and stack credentials, track progress over time, and access clear pathways to opportunity through participating employers and public sector partners. These efforts are already supporting workforce development in priority economic sectors—including digital and ICT, logistics, tourism and hospitality, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy—with successful deployments in markets such as Saudi Arabia, aligned with national development priorities like Vision 2030.
Together, the Cornerstone Foundation and the Skill Passport initiative reflect Cornerstone’s commitment to strengthening workforce readiness, improving economic mobility, and helping more people translate verified skills into real opportunity.
