Cisco commits to supporting 25 million individuals through skills-development programs

As one of the world’s largest IT skills-to-jobs programmes, Cisco Networking Academy has reached more than 28 million learners across 195 countries since its launch in 1997, offering industry-aligned courses in networking, cybersecurity, AI, data science, and digital literacy. Building on this long-standing commitment to digital inclusion, Cisco is scaling its investment with an ambitious goal to train 25 million additional people in future-ready skills by 2030 through the Cisco Networking Academy. As of the end of Cisco fiscal year 2025, 11.9 million people had been reached toward this goal.

Delivered through a global network of more than 31,300 instructors and partnerships with governments, educational institutions, nonprofits, and industry leaders, the programme provides hands-on labs, real-world learning experiences, and career-matching resources that help learners translate training into opportunity. With a flexible, mobile-first platform and a continually updated curriculum, Cisco Networking Academy is expanding access to the skills most needed in today’s workforce and tomorrow’s economy.

Through this commitment, Cisco is helping build a more inclusive and resilient global talent pipeline, supporting millions of learners worldwide and contributing to the Reskilling Revolution’s goal of preparing one billion people for the future of work.
