e& is improving access to critical technology skills, accelerating workforce skilling at scale, and expanding equitable job pathways for the next generation in the UAE.

e& has set a target to train 30,000 UAE residents in AI and machine learning skills between 2025 and 2027 through the AI Nation – Afaaq program. Participants are prepared for tomorrow’s jobs through a future focused, blended learning approach that combines free AWS Skill Builder access, live Cloud Coach sessions via e& Academy and 30,000 AWS certifications in AI and Machine Learning. This public initiative is supported by two internal e& development programs upskilling the UAE’s next generation of technology talent: a 12 month AI Graduate Programme that has trained and employed 350+ graduates since 2021, and Bidayati, an internship programme that has successfully hosted 500+ trainees since 2023.
