Snowflake commits to supporting more than 1 million individuals through skills-development and job pathway programs

Snowflake is mobilizing the world’s data and AI skills to meet the profound job transformation of the AI age, expanding equitable access to learning so people in all regions can seize new career opportunities.

By 2029, Snowflake will upskill 1 million learners worldwide in data and AI through its global "One Million Minds + One Platform" initiative, including free Snowflake-delivered training, certifications, and platform credits focused on high-growth and emerging markets. Through partnerships with leading online learning platforms such as Coursera and DataCamp, Snowflake will expand access to hands-on, job-ready training in data engineering, AI/ML, and Generative AI, and support learners to earn industry-recognized SnowPro certifications.

Snowflake will also strengthen job pathways by supporting mid-career transitions through programs like the U.S. Department of Defense SkillBridge partnership, offering service members structured training, apprenticeships, and routes into roles such as solutions engineering and HR. In parallel, Snowflake will continue to build inclusive AI literacy inside its own workforce through initiatives such as the “AI for Everyone” and prompt engineering training, ensuring employees across all functions can safely and effectively use AI tools.

Together, these efforts form Snowflake’s commitment to unlock new skills, careers, and opportunities in the AI-powered data economy for learners at every stage of their journey.
