Fundación Telefónica is committed to advancing digital inclusion, skills development, and career guidance as part of the World Economic Forum’s C&T Community Commitment. Our track record in digital skills education and training programs, together with our commitment to employability and inclusion, puts us in a strong position to contribute substantially to the three areas identified: access, skills and career paths.
For Access, the Campus 42 project offers free, open programming education with no prerequisites across 42 campuses in four Spanish cities, reducing economic and geographic barriers.
In the Skills pillar, the Technology Talent Scholarship Programme provides 50 annual scholarships for high-potential STEM graduates (with at least 30% for women) to study advanced technologies abroad, contingent on returning to Spain to strengthen local leadership. Additionally, the Reconectados program empowers adults over 60 and rural residents with essential digital skills and rights awareness through blended learning. Finally, the Campus 42 Tech Experiences offer immersive workshops, target secondary schools, universities, and social agents, fostering digital and soft skills with hands-on, peer-to-peer methods.
For Career Paths, OrientaTech offers AI-powered, real-time labor market guidance based on job market analytics, helping both jobseekers and career changers identify in-demand digital roles and skills in Spain.
