## Our mission

According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs report, 3 out of 4 employers in Latvia are concerned with talent availability in the next five years, compared with only 38% globally. Skills gap risk being among the key impediments to Latvian continued progress and innovation. Future-proofing Latvian education and reskilling ecosystem will be fundamental to driving the economy towards more inclusive growth, putting people at the centre of a more prosperous trajectory. To answer this challenge, the Latvian Education Accelerator aims to support multi-stakeholder partnerships in human capital development and education. The Accelerator brings together government, employers, and civil society to develop collaborative strategies to prepare a competitive workforce for the future Latvian economy.
